Product Description The Kobe is the lowest of our family of Japanese style beds. These low beds have differing heights, but all are in keeping with that Oriental look. The Kobe is pictured above in Sanded Pine, but can be ordered in our full range of timbers. Take a look at our timbers page for more information and to order timber samples. A version of this bed base with a headboard is available to purchase here. If, instead, you do wish to purchase this bed without a headboard but think you may want to add one in future, please leave a note at checkout to request the pre-drilled holes required to add the panel. These holes will not be visible with the bed placed up against a wall. Please note: a headboard panel cannot be added in future if these holes are not present. Every bed is made to order. Our lead-time is usually around 8 weeks ( delivery). This can fluctuate throughout the year, please do get in touch for the most up to date information. Lacquer Finish: Our ‘natural’ look lacquer finish, named for its clarity, allows you to appreciate the myriad colours and subtle variations in the tone of natural timber. It also retains a very subtle, soft sheen which protects the timber from grease marks and some stains.
