Product Description Our Kyoto bed is our most popular low bed. It can give your room a truly Oriental feel, and is available in our full range of timbers. Also a great option for loft spaces or low-ceiling rooms; the Kyoto’s compact base leaves you with real estate to play with. Wenge Stained Pine or Oak (both pictured above) make for great timber choices for this bed base. Take a look at our timbers page for more information and to order timber samples. A version of this bed base with a headboard is available to purchase here. If, instead, you do wish to purchase this bed without a headboard but think you may want to add one in future, please leave a note at checkout to request the pre-drilled holes required to add the panel. These holes will not be visible with the bed placed up against a wall. Please note: a headboard panel cannot be added in future if these holes are not present. It also retains a very subtle, soft sheen which protects the timber from grease marks and some stains.
