Product Description This handy walnut bedside shelf table with drawers is a contemporary storage unit with a modern style. A particularly useful chest of drawers, it has an upper shelf with two slim lower drawers and a small footprint – perfect for a smaller bedroom. Made using solid walnut, this cube style chest has a top shelf as part of the frame. This shelf is useful for storing books, throws or slippers. The ideal storage solution for your bedside. The Black Lotus Collection: Exclusive to Natural Bed Company, the Black Lotus Collection of solid walnut bedroom storage was designed by Peter Bennion. Made up of high quality, stylish storage solutions; beautifully crafted for us by an eco-conscious manufacturer in Europe. To name a few of their eco credentials: they use solar power for over 70% of their energy consumption; for every tree used to produce furniture, 10 more are planted; all off-cuts are made into wooden pellets for heating, so no waste! NB: This collection was previously made for us in Vietnam, it is now produced in small batches by an eco-friendly European company. They use a different species of walnut to the company in Vietnam – this collection therefore is not an exact match to the range we had a couple of years ago. This Cube bedside table has a slightly more natural look, with a greater variety of tone and grain. These units have a warmer hue – similar to our walnut after it has aged for a while. The photography shown here is of the new collection made in Europe. Materials: The top and drawer fronts are in solid timber, the infill panels e.g. to the rear – are veneered MDF (in compliance with EU16516).
