Product Description This large, shaker style 2-drawer bedside chest is a contemporary storage unit with a classic style. A particularly useful chest of drawers made using solid oak, this shaker style chest boasts two large, wide drawers; the ideal storage solution for your bedside. Our Shaker collection will work well with any of the solid oak beds in our collection. However, we think it looks particularly good with our Malabar, Zanskar and Sahara beds. About the Black Lotus Collection: Exclusive to Natural Bed Company, the Black Lotus Collection of solid walnut bedroom storage was designed by Peter Bennion. Made up of high quality, stylish storage solutions; beautifully crafted for us by an eco-conscious manufacturer in Europe. To name a few of their eco credentials – Solar power is used for over 70% of their energy consumption For every tree used to produce furniture, 10 more are planted Plus, all off-cuts are made into wooden pellets for heating, so no waste! NB: This collection was previously made for us in Vietnam, it is now produced in small batches by an eco-friendly European company. They use a different species of walnut to the company in Vietnam – this collection therefore is not an exact match to the range we had a couple of years ago. This Cube bedside table has a slightly more natural look, with a greater variety of tone and grain. These units have a warmer hue – similar to our walnut after it has aged for a while. Materials: The top, sides and drawer fronts are in solid timber, the infill panels e.g. to the rear and the drawer bases – are veneered MDF (in compliance with EU16516).
