Product Description Part of our popular Camden collection, the stunning, handmade Highbury bed is based on our Bloomsbury. Instead of an upholstered panel, this design instead features a large solid wood headboard panel with a chevron pattern. Crafted from your choice of hardwood timber. Also available with a plain headboard in the form of our Chiswick bed base. The Highbury is pictured here in solid oak, and is available in a range of hardwoods. Walnut, ash, cherry and oak are ideal timbers for the Highbury, as their prominent grains show beautifully on the chevron headboard. Take a look at our timbers page for more information and to order timber samples. All our wooden beds are fitted with sprung beech slats for extra comfort and to increase the life of your mattress. We also supply non-slip matting with this bed base to keep your mattress in place. Every bed is made to order. Our lead-time is usually around 8 weeks ( delivery). Lacquer Finish: Our ‘natural’ look lacquer finish, named for its clarity, allows you to appreciate the myriad colours and subtle variations in tone of natural timber.
