Caster City Phenolic wheels are a hard composition caster wheel which are non-marking in nature, making them excellent for supporting heavy stationary loads for long periods of time. This caster wheel can handle the impacts of small obstructions and shock loads, as well as being unable to develop flat spots if left immobile with a high static load. Phenolic is capable of absorbing chemicals and water if it is given excessive exposure – if your application is wet consider a different wheel. Caster City has designed this wheel to either have a precision sealed ball bearing or a roller bearing in the wheel. A phenolic wheel has a temperature range of -40°F to 250°F and a Durometer of Shore D 90. Ideal for mold storage, pattern storage, and heavy display equipment. *Photo of this Phenolic Wheel Swivel Caster Model 30 uses the 10″ x 3″ wheel.
