Description Rigid Caster Model 30 is a step up from the rigid casters shown on G15. These Rigid casters have bigger wheels, huge wheel bearings, a greater weight load rating, and a bigger mounting plate than the rigid caster that is shown on G15. It is designed to provide superior performance on both manually moved and mechanically powered equipment. The Model 30 frames are zinc plated for prevention against rust. There are lubrication fittings for the bearings in the wheel. Rigids are usually attached to equipment at the opposite end of the push handle and where swivel casters are attached. This enables the person or employee pushing the equipment to be able to control the direction of travel. It should also be noted that rigids have 2 legs perpendicular to the mount plate, stopping any kind of sideways moving. Equipment with 2 rigid casters and 2 swivel casters must be maneuvered into position. Capacity up to 7,000 pounds per caster. Model 30 features a large swivel and wheel bearing which allows for heavy loads and more arduous service.
