Frequently Asked Questions: 1. Can I choose my switch labels and still get it quickly? Yes, the panels are pre-built, but we are able to customize them with the pre-selected switch label options available above and still ship them same/next day. 2. How do the backlights turn on? The backlights on our 3 switch SEAready panel are independently triggered. There is an open piggyback on the back of the panel (detailed in product photos). Attach the positive lead you want to trigger the backlights here. Often this is a NAV/ANC or dimmer switch from another panel. Alternatively you could jump from any of the switch outputs to make one of the switches on the panel turn the lights on. 3. How can I connect my 3 switch panel to another SEAready panel with a backlit circuit? It is possible to connect a SEAready 3 switch panel to another SEAready NAV/ANC switch panel (4-6-8-10 switch models) and have it activate the backlites. You’ll need a minimum of two 14-16AWG 1/4″ (0.250″) Quick Connect Terminal with Heat Shrink and a length of 14-16AWG Marine Primary Wire to connect between two SEAready panels. See photo in product carousel above. 4. How will I attach a SEAready panel to my existing wiring? You’ll apply a single positive input wire to the panel using the provided input lead and heat shrink butt connector. You’ll also need a single negative wire via provided input lead and heat shrink butt connector (this is for the lights in the switch only. Each switch will then have an 0.250” Quick Connect (commonly called “spades”) output terminal where you will connect the load’s positive wire. Mating terminals are sold separately here. 5. What if I want a HORN or different switch function? (ex: momentary) Each 3 switch SEAready panel is pre-made with latching ON-OFF switches. If you need any other switch function? Simply purchase it separately and change the switch. To add a HORN switch choose one of our SWITCH COMBOS and includes both the switch body and the labeled cover. This switch is a momentary (ON)-OFF switch, like you’d expect for a horn. There is no indicator at the bottom. I want a RED HORN switch or I want a BLACK HORN switch. Be sure to select the corresponding Backlight Color to match the rest of the switches. If you want additional switch functionality then find a wide variety of switch bodies that will fit this panel here. And switch and actuator combos here. 6. What if I want a different breaker rating? Each SEAready panel is pre-built with a variety of common circuit breaker ratings as show on the detailed drawing above. It’s often possible to swap breakers with another switch if you need a different size. If unable to swap, then you can purchase separately the breaker rating of your choice and easily swap it out yourself. Select a circuit breaker that will fit this SEAready panel. 7. I do not see the switch label I want in the dropdown menu. We’ve added all our standard ON-OFF labels in the menu, but not our standard labels that come on other switch functions. You may purchase switch actuators (the switch covers) separately, and we can also customize an actuator just for you. 8. What will my selected switch look like?
