Product Description Avio is the Finnish work for “married. Perfectly suiting the two halves of this solid oak side table joining through a simple connection. The rounded shapes and symmetrical form harmonise with a narrow gap, resulting in a simple yet unique design by Japanese designer Kazushige Miyake. Made from FSC certified, solid Oak and a pale yet natural look finish, the natural grain and unusual shape takes centre stage. Please note, due to natural variations in the real wood used in making these items, slight variations in tone and grain pattern can occur. We find the small size works great as a small side table, plant stand or a stool, while the larger size is perfect for a larger side table or for use at your bedside. Care Instructions: Intended for indoor use only. Place in a dry spot, not too close to a heat source (e.g. a radiator, stove or fireplace), as the wood can deform from heat and moisture. Avoid placing wet items on the solid oak table, as it may leave stains in the wood. Clean with a clean, slightly damp cloth. Dry item afterwards with a clean tea-towel and allow to air dry further before placing items back on top. Always wipe with the direction of the grain. Do not use abrasive or grease-soluable cleaning agents. Depending on the intensity of use, it is recommended to oil the wooden surface at least once per year. Please use clear, neutral oil for oak wood and apply in the direction of the grain.
