Description The MAKITA XT297T 18V LXT® 2-Pc. Combo Kit (5.0Ah) delivers two premium brushless tools for drilling, driving, and fastening. The Kit includes two 18V LXT® 5.0Ah batteries, which are compatible with the full range of Makita tools and products. The MAKITA XT297T kit includes an 18V LXT® Brushless Cordless ½” Hammer Driver-Drill (XPH14) delivering a full 1,250 in.lbs. of Max Torque for the most demanding drilling and driving applications and 0-31,500 BPM for faster hammer drilling into masonry materials. The XPH14Z is positioned at the top of the LXT line-up of driver-drills. The 1/2” Hammer Driver-Drill has a more compact and ergonomic design and is 14% shorter than the previous model. It’s powered by a Makita brushless motor for longer run time, increased power and speed, and longer tool life. With a 2-speed transmission (0-550 & 0-2,100 RPM), the XPH14Z can tackle a wide range of drilling, fastening and hammer drilling applications. Other features include an all-metal ½” self-ratcheting chuck for improved bit-gripping strength, L.E.D. lights, and a rubberized soft grip for increased comfort. The MAKITA XT297T Kit also features an 18V LXT® Brushless 4-Speed Impact Driver (XDT20) sets new standards. The XDT20 offers 4-speed power selections (0-1,100/ 0-2,100/ 0-3,200/ 0-3,600 RPM & 0-1,100/ 0-2,600/ 0-3,600/ 0-3,800 IPM) which provides precise fastening control for a wide range of applications. The Impact Driver features Assist Mode (A-mode) which helps eliminate “screw cam-out” and “cross threading” by driving at low speed until tightening begins. It also features two Tightening Modes (T-mode) for faster tightening of self-drilling screws in thick or thin gauge metal that helps prevent damage to the screw or workpiece. The XDT20 delivers industry-leading performance in a compact and ergonomic design.
