With a slightly larger footprint than that of our Kyoto bed, the Osaka is still a compact frame, but with a more modern look. The softly rounded legs and edges also bring a hint of mid-century modernity to the overall look. This bed base is characterised by its statement legs – standing out as an eye-catching feature, handmade from our solid, sustainable range of timbers. If, instead, you do wish to purchase this bed without a headboard but think you may want to add one in future, please leave a note at checkout to request the pre-drilled holes required to add the panel. These holes will not be visible with the bed placed up against a wall. Please note: a headboard panel cannot be added in future if these holes are not present. Every bed is made to order. Lacquer Finish: Our ‘natural’ look lacquer finish, named for its clarity, allows you to appreciate the myriad colours and subtle variations in the tone of natural timber. It also retains a very subtle, soft sheen which protects the timber from grease marks and some stains.
