With a slightly larger footprint than that of our popular Kyoto bed, the Nara is still a compact frame, but with a more contemporary look. The geometric, angular legs and bold edges bring a modern look, drawing the eye with bold, yet understated design. This bed base is characterised by its statement legs – standing out as an eye-catching feature, handmade from our solid, sustainable range of timbers. If, instead, you do wish to purchase this bed without a headboard but think you may want to add one in future, please leave a note at checkout to request the pre-drilled holes required to add the panel. These holes will not be visible with the bed placed up against a wall. Please note: a headboard panel cannot be added in future if these holes are not present. Lacquer Finish: Our ‘natural’ look lacquer finish, named for its clarity, allows you to appreciate the myriad colours and subtle variations in the tone of natural timber.
