Specifically designed for filtration/extraction/dilution of model sprays, light grinding particles, spray adhesives and other airborne sprays. Spray onto Artwork or 3D models or work near the intake when soldering, air is drawn into the front of the unit and cleaned air is vented to the outside atmosphere via a 2mtr length of flexi-duct. Description : Rigid ABS Plastic construction, finished in black – multi position shape – carry handle – standard 5 micron particulate filters – external rotor motor centrifugal blower, brushless, UL, VDE and CSA approved – sealed electrical wiring and switch, downstream of filters. Operation All BV filtration and extraction systems carry a lifetime warranty on the fans, are quiet in operation and can be assembled in seconds. Place in position attach duct to wall or window and then simply plug in and switch on. These units can be used in 3 positions: Upright position: Filtration/extraction/dilution of model sprays and airbrush spray as well as light grinding particles on models and 3D objects placed in front of the filter air intake. Reclining Position: Filtration/extraction/dilution of spray adhesives and aerosol lacquers, fixatives and airbrush spray on artwork placed directly onto the filter Filter Down Position: Extraction/Dilution of solder fume and contaminants other that propelled airborne sprays. Work near intake, air is drawn in from front and back of the unit. Filtration The particulate (intake) filter is a three stage graduated fibre filter with a high ‘dust’ holding capacity for long life. Filtration to 5 micron particles. NB: Spray particulate sizes vary from 10 to 20 microns. The dual process of filtration and then extraction, vastly reduces operator exposures to potentially hazardous substances abiding by COOSH and HSE executives.
