Description Art No: IW-ECL-CS – Iwata Eclipse CS Airbrush The Iwata Eclipse CS is the best all-around airbrush and one of the favourites of many airbrush artists, especially scale modellers. Eclipse’s high flow allows it to atomize a wider variety of liquids with less need for reducing or thinning. Eclipse Series offers a broad spray range, as compared to other airbrushes, where it is possible to achieve a controlled fine line to controlled wide spray. It’s got a fragile looking needle, but don’t be fooled, it’s very springy and tougher than most airbrushes in the market. It’s durable and one of the easiest airbrushes to clean. The Iwata Eclipse CS Gravity-Feed Dual-Action Airbrush has a generous 0.24oz / 7ml fluid cup with lid that is ideal for colour mixing. Iwata Eclipse Series airbrushes feature an exclusive compression fit nozzle that is easy to clean and assemble. The quick-flush cutaway handle allows easy access to the needle so that you can quickly empty the paint reservoir for cleaning. Iwata’s spring-steel needle resists breakage and the PTFE needle packings are solvent resistant for longevity. Iwata Eclipse airbrushes come with a head cap spanner that is used to remove the head cap when accessing the nozzle. Also included is Iwata Lube, which is used to lubricate the needle and main lever mechanism. Features: Gravity-feed with large 7ml cup Dual-action Internal-mix Head System: E3 – Needle, Nozzle, Nozzle Cap Spray Scale: Fine detail to 2″ (0.35mm to 50mm) spray pattern Optimal Working Pressure: 25 – 35 psi psi (0.17 – 0.24 Mpa) Funnel shaped cup for ease of cleaning and efficient paint flow Drop-in, self-centering nozzle for perfect alignment and ease of assembly Iwata quality and performance at a competitive price The Iwata Eclipse CS has the option to change to a 0.5mm needle, nozzle and nozzle cap for broader spraying. You will NOT need a nozzle wrench to take out the nozzle inside this airbrush. Unlike other Iwata airbrushes the Eclipse CS has a special ‘floating nozzle‘ which is easier and less delicate to take apart to change. The little spanner is used to take the head off to get into the nozzle area. Unlike the other Iwatas, it has a different type of nozzle ‘floating nozzle’ which is easier and less delicate to take apart. The tiny fragile nozzle on the Eclipses are in the larger gold coloured bit. You will also need: Air source (look at recommended Iwata Studio Series compressors) Air hose (look at Iwata Hoses) The Iwata Eclipse CS is excellent for these applications: Cosmetics Body Art Ceramics Fine Art T-Shirt/Textile Painting Sign Painting Model Painting Custom Automotive Hobby and Craft For Iwata Eclipse CS spare parts guide please CLICK HERE.
