Description The rustic aspen log bed is just plain UNIQUE. Each bed is hand made in Montana for us, and each one has its own rustic appeal. The logs are from an aspen grove in Central Montana, hand peeled and then hand crafted into these beautiful beds. The log post sizes vary quite a bit but the average size is 5″ to 6″ in diameter. The headboard posts are approximately 5ft tall and the footboard posts are approximately 3ft tall. The spindles in the headboard and footboard are fanned. The worm tracks and holes as well as knots and small ends of branches are left on the logs for the really rustic look. Heavy blue pine side rails support heavy wood slats that hold the mattress and box foundation. A great addition to any bedroom especially a log cabin, lodge or rustic vacation home. These beds are American made and made to last. We stock them in King and Queen but other sizes or headboard-only beds can be ordered.
